A stable and durable end product starts with the right drying process. In our wood drying facility, we combine advanced technology with years of expertise to dry every type of wood in a controlled and careful manner. Whether it concerns standard drying processes or specialist post-drying, we ensure a perfectly balanced moisture content.

Climate drying

Control in drying, certainty in quality

Drying wood requires more than just capacity. It requires insight. In our eight conventional drying chambers, with volumes of 100 to 200 m³, we dry virtually all types of wood under controlled conditions.

The entire process is computer-controlled and monitored both centrally and remotely. For each batch we draw up a precise drying schedule in advance, tailored to the type of wood, thickness and application. The experience of our specialists plays a decisive role in this.

That combination of technology and expertise ensures a constant and reliable end result. Especially in the drying and post-drying of wood for floors and façade timber.

Vacuum drying

Faster drying without loss of quality

For specific applications we have a powerful vacuum dryer with a capacity of 35 m³ per cycle. This technique makes it possible to dry wood considerably faster, without compromising on quality.

Particularly for the post-drying of South American hardwoods such as Jatoba, Cumaru and IPE, as well as for oak, vacuum drying offers major advantages. Reducing a moisture content from 25% to 8% can be on average up to 60% faster than with conventional drying methods.

That means shorter lead times and maximum control over the end result.

Control and certainty

Guaranteed to specification

Whether the wood is dried conventionally or by vacuum, we always combine the process with calibration and precise moisture measurements. Every batch is checked so that each board meets the agreed standards.

This way you are assured of wood that is immediately suitable for further processing or application.
